The Challenge
Dr. Hans Knopp is a pain management physician in West Hartford, Connecticut. A new practice website launches into a hard spot: no organic history, no rankings, and a local search page dominated by hospital systems and directory sites competing for every "pain management West Hartford" query. The goal was direct: get the practice found by the people in the area searching for a pain specialist, and do it without waiting a year for the site to earn trust.
The Solution
We built the site on Astro SSR, server-rendered for fast mobile load and fully crawlable HTML from the first request. The structure is local-first: service and condition pages written around how patients actually search, backed by LocalBusiness and Physician schema so Google understands exactly who the practice is, where it is, and what it treats. Clean technical fundamentals, canonical tags, a real sitemap, and accessible markup, gave the new domain a solid base to rank from instead of fighting its own site.
The Results
The site launched in spring 2026 with a clean zero baseline, no prior impressions or clicks. All figures below come from Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4. Within three months it was on page one for the local searches that bring in patients.
